Our team’s objective was to install a high quality security camera that covered the entirety of this Chicago area building’s courtyard area. First, we ran cables to all the conduits, pulling them through to secure and exact positions that will stay in place for years to come. Then we installed the cameras themselves, taking special care to aim them in the precise positions necessary for capturing the field of security monitoring. Our completed 9 camera system consists of 3 cameras in the courtyard, 1 in an alleyway facing the street, 3 cameras on 82nd street, and 2 in the building’s front. Our DVR was mounted on the wall of the basement, along with a monitor to view the footage locally. All cameras were set up to capture and record motion in order to save time and memory on the hard drive. This affordable yet powerful security solution helped exponentially increase the security of this Chicago building!
